Hello crafty friends and Happy Wednesday to you all! Cheryl here with a Happy 100th Birthday dew drops card I made for my Great Uncle, I made and decorated using dew drops I designed for The Robins Nest: Todays car was super fun to make and I love decorating using the different dew drops. I used Dew Drops from the Robins Nest for the corners and in between the flowers, and love how they look with the dew drops. I do hope my Uncle loved his card, as I really enjoyed making this one for him.
To Start
To start I picked my design papers, I wanted manly colors so I chose the browns and blues.I really wanted to make this card special, as how often is it we get to celebrate 100. So I chose to make my Faux Glass Flowers. Love how they turned out! I do have tutorials here. I used a frame for the Happy 100th Birthday, and added a metal charm. Next I chose my dew drop colors I wanted. I ended up choosing the browns, and sunflower, and river bed dew drops.
the 100 is thickers, I picked the ones I thought would work best.
Decorating now
To decorate using dew drops I chose to use the river bed ones in between the flowers. I love using the tear drop ones for this. In the close up photo above you can see. Nest I used some of the sunflower ones on the corners of my card. I tried to not dress it up too much as I wanted to add so much more for dew drops. hehehe I used hot glue and liquid glue to add all my dew drops. Hope my uncle loves his card.
