Hello there friends, Happy Friday! It’s Sadia back here today, as usual with a new inspiring project. Today I will share an embossed card featuring a unique technique which is an eyeshadow palette for coloring. We will also use Purple Mini Dew Drops on today’s card.

Embossing folder For Cardmaking

Supplies Needed:

  1. White card base
  2. Lavender card panel
  3. Altenew Craft Your Life: Bewitched Rose Embossing Folder
  4. Eyeshadow palette and colored pencils for coloring
  5. Black ink pad
  6. Sentiment stamp
  7. Purple mini dew drops
Step 1: Emboss the Lavender Card Panel

Take your lavender card panel and the Altenew Craft Your Life: Bewitched Rose embossing folder. Open the folder and place the card panel inside, aligning it with the embossed design. Close the folder and run it through your die-cutting machine according to its instructions. This will create a beautifully embossed rose pattern on the card panel.

Step 2: Color the Embossed Roses

Choose your desired colors from the eyeshadow palette to color the embossed roses. You can lightly brush the eyeshadow over the raised areas of the embossed design to add subtle shading and dimension. Use colored pencils to add additional depth and detail to the flowers and leaves.

Step 3: Stamp the Sentiment

Choose a sentiment stamp that complements the elegance of your embossed roses. Ink the sentiment stamp with black ink and carefully stamp it onto the lower portion of the card panel.

Step 4: Assemble the Card

Place your colored and sentiment-stamped card panel onto the white card base. The embossed roses should stand out beautifully against the white background. You can use liquid glue or double-sided tape to secure the card panel in place.

Step 5: Add Final Touches

To add a touch of elegance and dimension, I attached purple mini dew drops to the mini flower centers. These dew drops will catch the light and add a subtle sparkle to your card.

Step 6: Admire Your Finished Card

Once you’ve adhered the dew drops, take a moment to admire your beautifully crafted card. The embossed lavender roses, blended colors, and thoughtful sentiment come together to create a stunning handmade card.

There you have it! You’ve successfully created an elegant and artistic card using embossing, and coloring techniques. This card would be perfect to brighten someone’s day with a touch of handmade beauty. Enjoy your card-making journey!
