Hello crafty friends and Happy Wednesday to you all! Cheryl here with a super darling Shabby chic Embellishment Box with Dew Drops that I decorated for The Robins Nest: Today’s box was super fun to decorate and I love decorating using these different dew drops. I used Dew Drops from the Robins Nest as centers for my flowers, and leaves . I also added the Butterfly dew drop, and some pink ones for the shutters. I really enjoyed making this today.
To Start
To start I picked my design papers and shabby dies that I wanted to work with , and then my flowers , ribbons, lace. Next I chose my dew drop colors I wanted. I ended up choosing the Hyacinth, River bed, yellow, pink , and butterflies.
I cut out my card stock and design paper for the outside cover and inside cover. The Design paper is Heartfelt creations design papers, I then cut out the window shaker die using a die I had from years ago. I placed some of the pink diamond shaped dew drops inside the window .
Flowers
I fussy cut the flowers from the design paper and use my faux glass flower technique on them , so I could use them on the Embellishment Box to decorate it.
Decorating now
I added all the layers of flowers , vines, and leaves to my box, after adding the window. I did use hot glue to add them all, and also used dew drops in yellow for the centers of my flowers. The greenery I used some of the River Bed Dew drops to add in here and there.
Here I am adding some of the yellow dew drops to the flowers. I did use some hot glue to do this. Lastly I added a tag with a sentiment to my floral arrangement on the front of my box.
