Hi, there Chattering Robins! This is Sadia here today with a new handmade card that is a Jasmine Flower CAS Card. Currently, as we experience the hot summer of June in my country Bangladesh, I felt inspired to make a card using cool colors. I wanted to create a sense of calm and relief from the heat by using soothing and refreshing tones in my artwork. That’s why I chose to do ink blending with light blue and green colors and used white night jasmine flowers on my card.

A CAS Card with ink blending

To make this handmade card following supplies were used:

  1. White card base, card panel, and card paper
  2. Flower and leaf die set
  3. Blue and green ink pad
  4. ink blending sponge or brush
  5. Sentiment stamp and black ink pad
  6. Clear Dew Drops
  7. Neon Yellow Mini Dew Drops
  8. Olive Mini Dew Drops

Card Steps:

  1. Begin by blending blue and green ink onto the card panel.
  2. Proceed to die-cut the flower and leaves.
  3. Stamp the sentiment onto the card panel.
  4. Arrange the flowers on the card panel and attach them with liquid glue.
  5. Attach the card panel to the card base using liquid glue.
  6. Finally, embellish the card with The Robin’s Nest Creative dew drops.

Sadia
