Hello, I am Suzette Hussey, a returning design team member from Kingston, Jamaica. Happy New Year to you! I am so happy to be sharing my ideas with you and I think a great way to start the new year is on a positive note. What a better way to do that than an art journal page? I chose the quote “Live like tomorrow doesn’t exist” which is a powerful quote and definitely gives you a push in the right direction.
I have included a supply list and step by step directions below.

Robins Nest Products

Other supplies:

Art Journal or paper. I used Bristol.
Art Anthology Colorations Sprays –  Siesta Key, Waimea Bay, and Sterling
Rubber stamps of your choice. I used Visible Image stamp set – Tomorrow Doesn’t Exist.
Versafine Black ink pad
ink sponge/make up sponge
Ranger Glossy Accents

Follow the steps below:

1) Begin by spraying the paper with spray ink, alternating colors until you get the look you want.
2) Dry with a heat gun or hairdryer.
3) When thoroughly dry, stamp your image.
4) Stamp a quote on a piece of Bristol paper.
5) Cut out the quote and arrange on your page along with the Dew Drops.
6) Use a sponge and black ink to add a shadow to the edge of each word.
7) Glue everything in place. Ranger Glossy Accents is great for sticking on Dew Drops.
8) To finish off, go around the edges of your page with the black ink and sponge adding a little extra to the bottom of the page.
