You’re My Rainbow Scrapbook Layout

Hello crafty friends! Jody here with a birthday layout of my youngest.

With that huge smile to match that huge piece of cake I knew I wanted to make a very colorful layout.

I mostly used the Pebbles collection, Kid At Heart. I studied my dew drops to pick some coordinating colors.

I picked yellow dew drops, red dew drops, orange dew drops and surprisingly black dew drops.

I love how my page turned out. Bright and cheerful to match the picture. I started with a few layers behind my photo

then added the black dew drops to follow the swirls of the other colors.

Then, I added the other dew drops using the tone on tone method.

It has sparkle and dimension, two of my favorite elements on a scrapbook layout.

To finish it off, I added a few critters to each of the colored sections. This helps to move your eye around the page.
