Hey there crafty Robins! It’s Sadia back here, and today we are making a stunning DIY greeting card with a touch of embossed elegance. Gather your supplies, and let’s dive into this creative journey!

DIY Embossed Floral Greeting Card!

Materials You’ll Need:

  1. Black card base
  2. White card panel
  3. Floral embossing folder
  4. Yellow ink pad
  5. Circle stencil or mask
  6. Sponge dauber/blending tool
  7. Paper flowers and leaves
  8. Clear dew drops and clear mini dew drops
  9. Double-sided adhesive tape/glue
  10. Embossing machine (like Cuttlebug or Sizzix Big Shot)

Clear dew drops

Step-by-Step Guide:

Step 1: Start by placing the circle stencil on the white card panel. Apply yellow ink, starting from the edges and working your way toward the center, to achieve a captivating blended background.

Step 2: After that, place the card panel into the floral embossing folder and run it through your machine. I used the Altenew Daisy Tile embossing folder.

Step 3: Secure the embossed panel onto the black card base using double-sided adhesive tape or glue.

Step 5: Get creative with paper flowers and leaves! Arrange and adhere them around the ink-blended circle until you achieve a visually pleasing composition.

Step 6: Elevate your card’s charm by adding transparent dew drops from the Robin’s Nest Shop. Space them out around the floral arrangement for that perfect finishing touch.

Step 7: Don’t forget to personalize the inside of the card! Add a heartfelt message, or a quote, or leave space for your handwritten note.

Feel free to experiment with different colors, embossing folders, and embellishments, and then you will get your version of a floral greeting card. The creative possibilities are endless! Just try your take and don’t forget to share with us and tag me on your post if you make it.

Happy crafting until we meet again! May your creative endeavors be filled with joy and inspiration.

With love,
Sadia
