Hello and welcome! Shelly with you today sharing a quick and easy mixed media scrapbook layout.

Using so many elements in white really make the small amounts of color stand out.  The white on white also highlights the different textures.

What I used:

  • White Tear Drops
  • White Textured Cardstock (base – 8×8)
  • Ranger Opaque Texture Paste
  • Ranger Ink – Dylusions Stencil – Teardrops – Large
  • Colored Pencils
  • Patterned Paper for Photo Mat – Lawn Fawn “Really Rainbow” 6×6 pad
  • Colored Alphas – American Crafts
  • White Foam Alphas – American Crafts

Make it:

  1. I started by trimming my 3-1/2 x 5″ photo, leaving a very wide border
  2. Adhere photo to patterned paper, tear one edge and adhered to base
  3. Using stencil and texture paste, add tears drop around matted photo and let dry thoroughly
  4. Add title
  5. Once dry, use colored pencils to lightly scribble on tear drops
        6. For the finishing touch, add white Tear Drops to layout.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today – have a creative week!
