Hello everyone, I have been working in my art journal again and made a tutorial for you showing how I use Dew Drops on my pages.

The supplies I used in this project are:
  • Sun Yellow Dew Drops and Amber Diamonds
  • Embellishment glue
  • Book paper
  • Matte medium
  • Gesso
  • Punchinello
  • Teabag paper
  • Washi tape
  • Embellishments
  • Acrylic marker
  • Golden acrylic – teal  & Pthalo Green (Blue Shade),  Raw Umber
  • Black ink and sponge

Follow the steps below:

Use matte medium to stick down bits of book paper on your journal page. Allow it to dry.

Give a thin coat of gesso to push back into the background.

Begin to add your paint. I used an old credit card instead of a paintbrush.

Add more detail with bubble wrap.

Once again add a thin coat of gesso.

Glue on tea bag paper and your embellishment.

Add any words, quotes, etc, more embellishments and finally your Dew Drops.

That’s it! Another beautiful journal page using Dew Drops.

Thanks for stopping by! You can share your creations with us on our Facebook page. We would love to see them! For more inspiration have a look around the blog. There are a variety of tutorials for many levels using Dew Drops. You can also visit my blog at www.papermachepatch.com. You can find Dew Drops online at The Robin’s Nest.

Happy Crafting!
