Hello,  welcome to another tutorial. My post today is inspired by Valentine’s Day which is coming up next month. I love using a holiday as an excuse to design something new! I really love how this tag came out and it was really simple to make. The best part is I did some upcycling. The tag is cut out from the cardboard backing of a Bristol that finished and the heart is cut out from the front. Crafting really does not need to be expensive.

I have prepared a video tutorial for you showing exactly how I made this tag.  The supply list is as follows:

Dew Drops

Brown Dew Drops
Brown Tear Drops

Other supplies:

  • chipboard tag cut out
  • book paper cut in the shape of the tag
  • glue stick
  • Distress Ink – Vintage Photo & brush to apply
  • heart cut out
  • black gesso
  • white gesso
  • red acrylic painting – I used Americana Dark Scarlet
  • charcoal pencil
  • quote or sentiment
  • black ink pad and sponge – I used Versafine Black Onyx
  • raffia
  • Nuvo Embellishment Glue
Follow along in the video below:
