Hello, welcome to another tutorial. My post today is inspired by Valentine’s Day which is coming up next month. I love using a holiday as an excuse to design something new! I really love how this tag came out and it was really simple to make. The best part is I did some upcycling. The tag is cut out from the cardboard backing of a Bristol that finished and the heart is cut out from the front. Crafting really does not need to be expensive.
I have prepared a video tutorial for you showing exactly how I made this tag. The supply list is as follows:
Dew Drops
Brown Dew Drops
Brown Tear Drops
Other supplies:
- chipboard tag cut out
- book paper cut in the shape of the tag
- glue stick
- Distress Ink – Vintage Photo & brush to apply
- heart cut out
- black gesso
- white gesso
- red acrylic painting – I used Americana Dark Scarlet
- charcoal pencil
- quote or sentiment
- black ink pad and sponge – I used Versafine Black Onyx
- raffia
- Nuvo Embellishment Glue
