Hello Everyone!!! Once again Rumana Amin here with another brand new dewdrop project! Today’s project is a greeting card having water-color textured background and Neon Blue Mini Dew Drops as embellishment. Hope you have fun learning the detail…
Here’s what I’ve used to make it!!!
-
- A 3.5″ x 12″ Pure-white card base, folded into half to make the entire card of 3.5″ x 6″ dimension
- A 3″ x 5.5″ Pure-white card stock paper to make the front panel
- A wide watercolor brush
- Water color (Blue, green and pale olive)
- Cone flower die set
- Fishing Net Cutting Die
- “You are loved” sentiment stamp and coordinating die
- Some extra white card-stock for die-cutting and coloring
- Neon Blue Mini Dew Drops
- Liquid adhesive
- A die cutting machine
Looking into the steps I’ve followed…
- I’ve started the process with piecing paper for card base in mentioned sizes.
- Then I’ve texture brushed some strokes of Blue, green and olive water color in a very soft tone on the front panel of my card
- After that I’ve taken another piece of paper and colored in a darker tone of blue, green and olive for die-cutting the flower petals, stem and leaves. After the coloring is done, I’ve glued down the pieces of flowers to hold them together.
- Then I’ve used one more piece of white paper, colored the same way as the front panel in a lighter tone for cutting out the Fishing Net Cutting Die.
- After the all the papers are properly dried, I’ve fixed the pieces on the front panel with the help of liquid adhesive. Also the entire front panel I’ve glued down on the card base.
- After setting it all I’ve stamped my “You are loved” sentiment stamp, using navy blue ink and die-cut the text with it’s coordinating die. I took 3 cutouts to stack them up for adding dimension.
- I’ve placed the sentiment right at the bottom of the flower keeping the leaves visible nicely.
- And finally I’ve embellished the card with Neon Blue Mini Dew Drops random placement.
So… That’s all for today, dear crafty folks!!! Happy Crafting!!!
With Love…
Rumana Amin.
