Floral Thank You Card using embossed background

A simple thank you can bring happy gesture to someone’s face. Give a handmade piece of happiness to thank them in a unique way. Hi there crafty friends, I am back with another card tutorial. I tried to make this card in lemon theme using Olive mini dew drops & Aquamarine mini dew drops .

Here is the product list :

1. A 6×6” inch white card base

2. Golden mirror paper for card matting

3. Embossed card paper

4. Rose layering flower dies

5. Peony layering flower dies

6. Ink – orange, yellow. light yellow, black

7. Ink blending tool

8. Aquamarine mini dew drops

9. Olive mini dew drops

10. Liquid adhesive

11. Double sided tape

12. Thank you stamp

Here are the steps to make this card :

* Start off by folding the card base into half to make the entire card of 6×6” inch. Add golden mirror paper to the embossed panel for card matting. Glue them up in the card base.

* Make cut outs of the flower dies in white cardstock, try to blend the ink from light to dark / dark to light whatever color combination you prefer. I have used orange ,light yellow & yellow ink to give them yellowish tone. Use green  cardstock to make leaves for the flowers. Assemble them on the card base according to your choice..

* Stamp up the thank you quote in a white cardstock using black ink. Add the white base into golden paper & double sided tape to create dimension.

* Add Olive mini dew drops & Aquamarine mini dew drops ,Your card is good to go.
