Hello crafty friends and Happy Wednesday to you all! Cheryl here with a fun Gingerbread and dew drops. We will decorate the gingerbread using Dew Drops today and I will show you how. This was made for The Robins Nest: Todays Gingerbread was super fun to make and I love decorating using the different dew drops. I used Dew Drops from the Robins Nest to create some snowflake buttons, and show how to below. I love how this sweet little gingerbread looks using the dew drops, and doing the snowflakes were so much fun.
To Start
To start I had bought these plain Gingerbreads at Micheals Craft store and figured they were perfect for some Christmas treats for gift giving. I decided to decorate them using some ric rac for the white icing and hot glued them on first. I then added the eyes using The Robins Nest Creative Black tear drops, having the ric rac on helped with placement. I then added the hearts for the cheeks, and the mouth.
Photo below it shows adding the white diamonds to the handle using glue and my vikerer tool. I used 3 dew drops.
Decorating now
To decorate making snowflakes I chose to use the white diamond dew drops.First I placed my hot glue and then added 5 of them for each snowflake, then hot glued the round red dew drop to the centers. I love using the dew drops decorate and make different things with. So in the photo below you will see me creating snowflakes. It takes 5 diamonds, and 1 drop to create one snowflake. So first I did the top one using hot glue, just be careful not to make to a mess, and any glue hairs can be cleaned up later.
Now to decorate using a bow and making Holly Berry
For the bow here I chose to use Really Reasonable Ribbon 3/8″ gingham, and hot glued it on. I added some green diamond dew drops for the holly as seen in photos below, next I added 3 small dew drops in red to create the berries. This helps cover the wire on my bow but also creates such a cute holly and berries using dew drops.

Lastly my finished project in the photo below.
Thank you so much for stopping by and hope you enjoyed my post for today. happy crafting to all
