Hello crafty friends and Happy Wednesday to you all! Cheryl here with a fun canvas using alcohol inks and dew drops I designed for The Robins Nest: Today’s canvas was super easy and fun to make and I love decorating using these. I used Dew Drops from the Robins Nest as little centers for the flowers and then the diamond dew drops for the petals. I really enjoyed making this today.
To Start
To start I picked a canvas out that I wanted to work with and then my alcohoI inks. I chose the sky colors, and then the green for the cactus, then the sand color. I used caramel and latte for the sand, Meadow for the cactus, and then denim, weathered wood, cool peri for the sky.
Inking now
I used the alcohol inks blending tool to dab on the color for the cactus, and then started the sky and finished with the sand. Love how this looks. For the flowers I used copic markers RV11 and RV34.
Decorating using dew drops
Now its time to decorate, this is the fun part. I chose the green dew drops, and the pinks for the flowers. For the greens I used some of the dew dew glue to add these on. For the flowers I used some art glitter glue as I added the diamond shaped dew drops to cover the petals. Love the look of all the dew drops on this canvas, super easy and fun!
