Hello crafty friends and happy Wednesday to you all! Cheryl here today with a fun little project using the Robins Nest Creative dew drops on my flowers and gift card purse. Also a video tutorial as well.
Making the gift card purse holder
- First I picked my design papers and card stock and cut them 6 x 12 so I could cut using a die
- 1st step- I glued all layers to the front and inside, it took 3 layers for this part.
- 2nd step -distressing the edges using distress ink and a brush
- 3rd step-I then added my punched border to the bottom using liquid glue
- 4th step adding my white paint dots
- 5th step is added my bows
Making the flowers
- step 1- I fussing cut out flowers from coordinating design paper to use
- step 2- use glue pad on each and dip in clear embossing powder
- step 3 -heat to do glass flower technique I do have a video on this
- step 4- add the Robins Nest dew drops in purple using liquid glue
Decorating the front of purse
For the front of the purse I used the flowers I created using the dew drops and arranged them on the front the way I like them best using hot glue to hold them in place.
I also added some faux glass leaves, and felt that the darling dew drops would look sweet along the border on the bottom of my purse.
of course I love embellishing with the dew drops so I decided to also add one to the flap of the purse.
Then I added a couple more of my glass flowers to both of my bows on the front.
My video Tutorial
