Hello Friends,
Karen here… to share how to embellish an adorable swimming layout. I created a underwater scene where the photo merges & blends into the blue paper. Dew Drops serve as perfect bubbles that add the feeling of realistic movement in the water. Use multiple sizes of Round Dew Drops in various shades of blue to bring your scene to life. So go grab your photos of the kiddos or grandkids and get ready to create your own underwater world. Follow me & let’s dive in!

Sea Glass Tear Drops

Directions:

  1. Carefully tear along the edge of teal blue paper and adhere the strip near the lower edge of the striped paper.
  1. Attach the photo on the left side of the teal blue paper tucking it underneath the torn edge.

(TIP: Select blue paper that best matches the color of the water

so that the photo appears to blend into the paper.)

  1. Cut & crop two photos into circles. Adhere them slightly overlapping in the upper right corner of the layout. Add some chipboard flourishes to bring a sense of movement by mimicking splashing water.

    4.  Embellish the layout with fish and appropriate summer accents.

(TIP: Use embellishments to camouflage less than ideal photos.  When I noticed that
the inner tube was going off the edge of the photo, I used a fish overlapping
the edge to disguise that little bothersome issue.  I wanted to create
a blended scene where the photo merges into the blue paper.)

  1. Finally, adhere round Dew Drops to appear as bubbles and Tear Drops to mimic splashes.
