Hello Crafty People!
I’d like to share this canvas project with you today. It was easy and fun to create with the Robin’s Nest Art Canvases. I totally messed up the “live”, but the end result is too cute not to share.
Supplies:
Art Canvas – World by Robin’s Nest
Water-based Markers: lt green, emerald, maize, cerulean blue, (Misc)
Alcohol Markers: TB1, TB2, TN7 (Spectrum Noir)
yellow highlighter (Bic), Gold Leafing Pen (Krylon) , Scattered Straw stickles (Ranger Ink)
Metallic Palet (USArtQuest), water spritz and paint brush.
Instructions:
1. Color the foliage with lt green marker and the continents with emerald.
2. Color the sail boat sails and finial with maize marker. Use the highlight marker to brighten the stars and moon.
3. Add gold leaf to parts of the finial and the stickles to the darker parts of the finial and the stars and moon.
4. Color the water at the base of the boat with cerulean blue and the boat with TN7 alcohol marker.
5. Blend TB1 and TB2 to color in the water of the world.
6. Spritz water into the metallic pallet blue, using a small brush with flexible hairs, splatter the blue metallic all over the background and project. Let dry completely.
