Hi everyone. Diana here today to share a fun mixed media panel I created for you. I had so much fun making this panel and am glad I finally pulled it out of my stash to use.

This panel has a lot of steps but only took me a total of two hours to complete. I let the process decide what was going to be used and this is what I ended up with.
Step 1: Paint your wood panel. I used wild honey distress paint.
Step 2: Once paint is dry, using a splat box, spray walnut stain distress spray stain onto the panel. I did use my heat gun to dry this a bit faster.
Step 3: Create an envelope using a template or die. Start adding ink to the envelope outside with desired ink and a sponge. Once dry, choose a stencil and add a darker shade of ink using a sponge.

Step 4: Pick pages out of an old book and rip them into small pieces. Adhere them down with matte gel and then brush distress collage medium in vintage over the top.
Step 5: Fold up your envelope and then your ready to adhere it to the front of your panel.
Step 6: Start adding all your other embellishments. Finish it off by adding your Dew Drops.
Here are some more finished project photos. I can’t wait to work on my next panel (it’s a pumpkin)
