Hello and welcome to the blog. Shelly with you today sharing some mosaic magic with the “Artsy Rose” Creative Dew Drop Canvas.

I have become completely enamored of the Creative Canvas kits from the Robins’s Nest – – there are so many ways to use them and the process is relaxing, creative bliss!

There are so many different looks that can be achieved – my project definitely has a mosaic vibe – and it was as easy as doing a paint-by-number!

Kits come with a pre-printed canvas, a supply of Dew Drops and an inspiration pic!

There are many ways to apply Dew Drops, just dot some glue on your canvas and add the Dew Drop!

My go-to for applying a LOT of Dew Drops is Embellie Gellie from ScraPerfect – gently pick up and place Dew Drops – so easy and fast!

Designer Tip #1:  Use a Fine Tip Sharpie to outline the canvas design – helps anchor and define your piece

Designer Tip #2:  Use ALL of the different shapes and sizes to give your piece dimension and texture – experiment!

I did add some ink and paint to the canvas…
But I am still undecided how this piece will end up… I have 2 ideas:
-Fussy cut rose, add to a mixed media canvas with quote from Beauty and the Beast (Beauty is Found Within or Until the Last Petal Falls)
-Fussy cut rose and add to a card for Mother’s day – I think this would make a SPECTACULAR card!
So if you have read this far, I am going to let YOU decide how I should use this rose!  Leave a comment…..
Choose 1 of my 2 options – – or tell me how YOU would use it!  Someone will receive a Dew Drop RAK direct from my stash!!
Thanks for stopping by the blog today – have a creative week!
Shelly
