Hello crafty friends and Happy Wednesday to you all! Cheryl here with a super darling Shabby Chic Purse Box I decorated using dew drops I designed for The Robins Nest: Today’s little box was super fun to make and I love decorating using these different dew drops. I used Dew Drops from the Robins Nest as a border on the theart, and then the heart dew drops for the charm and on the front. I really enjoyed making this today.
To Start
To start I picked my design papers and shabby chic Purse Box die I wanted to work with , and then my flowers and trim. Next I chose my dew drop colors I wanted. I ended up choosing the Hyacinth, and hearts.
I cut out my cream card stock for the purse, and then the layering pieces are Graphic45, I then cut out the heart window using a heart die. Next I glued the pieces together and added some lace using hot glue. I also glued the box together using hot glue and liquid glue. Now my Purse box is ready for dew drops
Decorating now
In the photos below I show adding the Hyacinth dew drops around the heart window on my Purse Box using Dew Drops. I love how this looks. I also added the little lace piece on the flap closer.
In the photos below I did add a lace bow, flower and the little pink Heart Dew drop to the right corner. Also on the back I added the zipper, and pull charm with another dew drop.
Lastly I added my charm piece that I tied on and then glued the heart, bow, dew drop, and then flower and heart dew drop.
Below is the finished purse and the backside as well. On the back side you will see I added a charm with a little dew drop. I love how this turned out and will be making many more of these for gifts.
