Hey there, fellow crafters! Sadia here once again, and I’m thrilled to present you with an exciting new handmade card. Today, I decided to step out of my comfort zone of creating clean and simple cards and delve into the realm of maximalism in card making. To achieve this, I opted for a striking black card background adorned with the technique of dry embossing. Additionally, I incorporated clear mini dew drops sourced from the Robin’s Nest Creative into the design. Let’s dive in and explore this unique and bold card together!
To create this card, I started with a black card panel and used the Altenew Ambridge Rose embossing folder to add texture and dimension to it through dry embossing. Next, I die-cut a frame from a light blue cardstock using Altenew frame die. Then, I proceeded to die-cut pink flower petals and green leaves using Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Sulfur Cosmos Layering Die Set, arranging them in a visually pleasing way. To assemble the card, I attached the embossed panel onto a black card base using either liquid glue or double-sided adhesive tape. Afterwards, I positioned the die-cut frame, flowers, and leaves onto the card. Finally, I added the finishing touch by adhering clear mini dew drops to enhance the overall look of the card.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoy the ideas and inspiration behind this handmade card. If you have any questions or need more information about the card, please leave a comment. Remember to stay safe and create with passion and love. I look forward to seeing you again soon.
Take care,
Sadia
