Hello crafty friends and Happy Wednesday to you all! Cheryl here with my Hexagon box using dew drops I designed for The Robins Nest: Today’s Gift box was super fun to make and I have a video showing how I made this. I used Dew Drops from the Robins Nest as eggs around the bottom. I really enjoyed making this. I’ve made so many of these and love making them. This gift box was super fun as its different shape with plenty of room for a gift inside.

To Start

To start I made this Hexagon box Large so it could hold a gift I made. I picked some cute Easter Design paper that I bought. Next I picked my die cuts, and cut out the fence and grass, and then picked my image, and it is an svg that I had pieced together and already had an idea for. I did do a video to show my project sneek peek , you can see it here.

Decorating My Hexagon Box using dew drops

I started with adding My design paper to my Box before putting together, that was it made it easy. Then once together I added my fence pieces and grass to the bottom front 3 panels. The Bunny Chick was popped using foam tabs, she needed to be towards the bottom some so I could add eggs & Pepps. For the dew drops I used the light pink dew drops in the tear drop shape, and then Orange drops, blue, purple, yellow to look like Easter Eggs. I just used hot glue to add them all along the bottom. Then I added lots of Really Reasonable Ribbon to close the top, and for my double bow. I love how the dew drops look like little eggs around the bottom of my gift box.

Then I chose to add a Little tag to my bow that says Hoppy Easter. I did distress it using Pink and green ink. Love making these boxes as they are so much fun and so easy. I made some super mini ones too, and I ended up making 10 of those as they will be favors on my table setting for tomorrow’s Luncheon.

Thank you so much for stopping by and hope you enjoyed my post for today. happy crafting to all

Hugs ,Chery
