Hello crafty friends and Happy Wednesday to you all! Cheryl here with my project I designed for The Robins Nest: Today’s fun project is a Hot Cocoa pocket using Dew Drops from the Robins Nest. love making these.

Making the Hot Cocoa Pocket

To start with I chose my card stock and design papers that I wanted to use. Next I picked the dies I thought would work best for holding these items.  I did all my cutting using the die cut machine and dies I chose. I then glued all design papers to inside and outside of my pocket. Note- I cut 2 of the same size shapes ,and then cut one in half to create the pocket. Next I glued the half piec to the bottom of the back piece, this creates a pocket tag.

Decorating the Hot Cocoa Pocket

Now we are ready to decorate, you can choose whatever works best. Here I chose to use a small doily, then a tag, a border I punched out and added some ribbons. I then added my little SVG Nash bear to the front as I thought he was perfect for hot cocoa. Of course I added lots of dew drops on the doily, Hot Cocoa cup, Nash’s Hat, and then the candy cane.

Candy cane for Hot Cocoa Pocket

for the candy cane I had one in a button jar, so I chose to use the white dew drops to decorate it. Using Hot glue I added the white dew drops to the candy cane. Love how it turned out. I then glued it to the bow at the top of my pocket.

I hope you enjoyed my post for today, and thank you for stopping by! If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Hugs, Cheryl
