Hi all! I am so happy to welcome you to my first creation as a part of The Robin’s Nest Creatives Design Team. I made this card for a friend recovering from brain surgery; despite it sounding very scary, I am happy to say he is home and recovering well. You can read all about exactly how I made the card on my blog, Art Without Anxiety, since we are going to focus on the beautiful Mini Dew Drops I used to really make the card special.
I used light blue and what I’d call medium blue Mini Dew Drops and they can be found in many of the mini dew drops collections such as Belgian Chocolate, Hillside, Rubber Ducky, Skies and Riverside. One of the best features of the Dew Drops is they are plastic so you don’t have to worry about them getting cracked in the mail AND they are light, so you can really go crazy when adding them to a project and not worry about added weight. I will be sharing some different ways to use Dew Drops in my future posts – my posting days are the 1st & 3rd Friday of the month – but be sure to come back every day for some new inspiration!
