Hello, today I am on the blog with Robin’s Nest Designs using Dew Drops. I love the dew drops, they are so fun to use and I seem to be embellishing everything with them!

My first project this month is a Valentine Ornament that could be used as a card or tag for that someone special.

I used an image from Gecko Galz, white heart doily, a red doily, a burlap heart, kraft paper, red and white twine, and Love Birds Tear Drops.

I have to apologize for the white doily below, I used a heart but took a picture of a round doily. You know how you get in the zone when creating, I do that often then forget to take pictures, so I sometimes have to go back and try to recreate what I used and I only had one white heart doily!

I cut out my image then inked the edges with Distress Ink Vintage Photo, set it aside.
Then layer the red doily over the white one and glue, lay the burlap heart over the red/white doilies and glue down.
I then added the image to the center. I then laid this layered piece over the kraft paper and cut it along the edge following the heart shape. I then punched a hole in the top and strung it with the twine.
When everything was dry, I then add the red tear-shaped dew drops around the edge.
Your ornament/tag/card is now ready for giving! Be sure to stop back by for more art. XOXO Kelly
